ASPAEN Gimnasio Cartagena de Indias is an educational institution promoted by the parents, committed to the mission of being their daughters’ first teachers. Their project is about personal and integral education with a single-sex setting. It is based on stimulating the personal development of the parents and other members of the academic community, and it encourages the students to strive for excellence and a spirit of service as a lifestyle that may transform society. Following the Catholic Church Teachings' concept of the human being, it develops its formative work supported by the spiritual advice of the Opus Dei’s Prelature.
In the year 2014, ASPAEN Gimnasio Cartagena de Indias will be a trilingual institution with international projection, recognized for its high academic quality, outstanding human development of the parents, faculty, students, alumni and its commitment to transform society.
