ASPAEN has implemented a Conceptual Model that articulates its Corporate Development Plan, the Strategic Model of Quality Management, and the implementation of the Certification in the EFQM Quality Model.
This model seeks to analyze the management style of the institution in order to achieve quality in all processes through new criteria on which the company is viewed holistically.
The EFQM Model, as well as several models related to the issue of quality, is based on an ascending improvement cycle, PAMA (Spanish acronym for: Plan, Do, Check and Act). It is a strategy of continuous quality improvement in four steps, also called spiral of continuous improvement.
The concept of Total Quality adopted by EFQM is very important because it is a synonym of a “Job Well Done”, the spiritual foundation that guides ASPAEN, which must constantly improve in every aspect, as every enterprise should, in order to compete in the market with more strength. However, we must remember that a prime factor in achieving "a job well done" is always bearing in mind ASPAEN’s mission which must be the center of all activity, therefore the goal of the model.
We have currently obtained the certification of the CECE (Committee for European Construction Equipment) the level of access, certification which is valid until May 2011. We are currently developing the Corporate Development Plan to continue to the next certification level.
