SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

School Management at Gimnasio Cartagena de Indias includes the participation of the Teaching Association, ASPAEN, which at the same time, is managed and directed by: The General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Executive Direction.

The internal management organs are:

• The Directive Council (Art. 21 decree 1860 de 1994)
• The Academic Council (Art. 24 decree1860 de 1994)
• The Parental Council (Art. 5 -8 decree 1286)
• The Student Council (Art. 29 decree 1860 de 1994)
• The Family and Orientation Counsel

Student Participation

Every year, the student body elect the students that will become part of the School’s Management:

1. President.
2. Student Council Representative
3. Delegates and secretaries that form the class committees
